As someone who spent over two decades at war with my own mind, I know exactly what it feels like to be stuck in a cycle that feels unbreakable. My journey didn't start in a clinician's office; it started at the age of 15. For most of my life, I struggled with emotional eating, using food to quiet a mind that never seemed to stop criticizing. I was the ultimate introvert—quiet, self-doubting, and constantly putting myself down. My inner dialogue wasn't a friend; it was a judge.
I spent years trying to "willpower" my way into a better life, only to realize that the change I was looking for couldn't be forced from the outside. It had to be nurtured from within.
Why I Do This
Today, I am a hypnotherapist, published author, and entrepreneur. But at my core, I am a person who found the "exit" from a very dark room and decided to spend the rest of my life holding the door open for others.
